Initiatives like land restoration, beekeeping, and product value addition not only contribute to environmental conservation but also create economic opportunities for local communities.
MISSION , VISION & KEY OBJECTIVES
Mission
To contribute to the process of promoting safety to women and children and improving their quality of life through economic empowerment and promotion of their fundamental rights and freedom of and most especially for the marginalized communities in Kenya with a priority of Laikipia County.
Vision
Champion for a nation where every woman and child enjoys their human rights and is safe from gender-based violence (GBV) and any other form of injustice.
Key Objectives
- To curb, mitigate, and protect women and children from gender and sexual-based violence.
- Climate Change Mitigation—This can be done by working with women and youth groups to promote alternative livelihoods such as land restoration, beekeeping, and product value addition.
- To offer and ensure Counselling and psychosocial support to survivors of social injustices.
- To enhance access to clean water in underserved areas by establishing sustainable sources and infrastructure.
- To offer HIV/AIDS prevention, care and education.
- To offer Guidance on alternative family care services (adoption, guardianship, institutional care, and foster care).
